Sheena Santamaria is a Filipina American comedy writer and SAG-AFTRA actor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Orange County, CA, she earned her BA in Global Studies from UCLA and her Msc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics (how she did not become a diplomat remains unclear). She currently works as an in-house writer at Pocket FM, an audio streaming platform.

Sheena was previously a writer on the sketch comedy teams Toast, Don't Be A Stranger, and Emerald on Maude Night at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB). She has also written sketches for Gay for Pay and Filipino AF at UCB, and Gayasian AF.

Her original comedic pilots have placed in competitions such as Final Draft Big Break, Launch Pad Pilot Competition, and the Austin Film Festival. You can learn more about her scripts and placements here.

When she's not writing, Sheena consumes copious amounts of k-pop and Korean dramas and plays video games such as Stardew Valley.
